What Is Mesh Lining In Shorts
“Exploring The Truths and Insights Behind Mesh Lining In Shorts” Rijiz.co Have you ever thought about what is mesh lining in shorts and why is it even there ?Well, it’s…
Every fleece jacket in our jacket manufacturing programmes goes through the same quality control and inspection step before bulk is authorized: the pilling result on your approved sample is graded, not asserted, and recorded on the tech pack your production run is checked against.
We check pilling resistance on your approved sample against a fixed test and record the grade on your tech pack, so "anti-pill" means a documented result, not just a word on a spec sheet.
Brushed, high-loft fleece counts as a raised-surface textile, and we treat that as a compliance checkpoint for US-bound programmes rather than an assumption. Confirm current testing status with your account manager at quote stage.
Single-face or double-face brushing changes how warm a jacket feels per GSM and which face takes embroidery cleanly, so we specify it against your end use instead of defaulting to whichever finish is fastest to run.
We wash-test fleece through repeat industrial laundering cycles and disclose the shrinkage tolerance on your tech pack, confirmed with your account manager before bulk is authorized, rather than leaving dimensional stability unstated on the spec sheet.
Fleece weight is measured in grams per square meter (GSM), and the market generally breaks into three tiers by weight:
Lightweight, roughly 150 to 200 GSM: closer to a microfleece hand, suited to warmer climates or a layering piece under a shell.
Midweight, roughly 240 to 300 GSM: the standard weight for a full-zip or hooded fleece worn as an outer layer.
Heavyweight, roughly 320 GSM and up: sherpa and bonded builds sit here, holding shape and warmth through repeat wear.
Bonded and softshell-hybrid builds sit at the heavy end of this range too, closer in spec to our softshell jacket programme than a standard brushed fleece.
Anti-pill” gets used as a catch-all on most spec sheets, but it can mean any of three different things:
A mechanical finish: fabric is sheared or singed to remove loose fiber ends before it leaves the mill.
A chemical finish: a topical treatment applied to the fabric surface, which washes down over repeated laundering.
A low-pill yarn: fiber built to resist pilling at the yarn stage, holding up longest but costing more.
Industry pilling tests, such as the ASTM D3512 random tumble method, grade fabric on a numbered scale after a fixed number of wash cycles. We run a comparable check on your approved sample and record the result on your tech pack before bulk is authorized.
Every fleece order starts with a physical Golden Sample, built to your GSM, brushing, and style spec through our prototyping and sampling process, at production cost only, with the pilling grade and shrinkage tolerance already confirmed on its tech pack. Nothing about the fabric or finish changes after you sign off on it, and your account manager confirms sampling and bulk lead times before you approve it.

I have build a hand full of entrepreneurial businesses, but recently made my first venture into the sportswear sector, and decided to work with Rijiz as my first clothing manufacturer. They did an incredible job bringing my flat sketches to life, and working with me throughout the iterative design process, making small tweaks and suggestions as we moved towards the final product. Their communication was good via email, and they were supportive throughout the process, even checking in with me periodically to ask how things were going. The only hiccups were a last minute increase in the cost per unit of the product, and a slightly longer than expected lead time, but my order quantity was very small, so these problems make sense. I'm sure larger order with them take priority. Overall, they are a great company that I will continue to work with as this business grows, and I would highly recommend them!Posted on Google![]()

Lighter fleece around 150 to 200 GSM drapes closer to the body and suits warmer climates or layering pieces. Midweight fleece in the 240 to 300 GSM range is the standard for a full-zip or hooded jacket worn as an outer layer. Heavier fleece from roughly 320 GSM up holds its shape through repeat wear and is where sherpa and bonded builds sit.
"Anti-pill" can describe a mechanical shearing finish, a chemical topical treatment, or a low-pill yarn built into the fabric itself, and each holds up differently after repeated washing. We confirm which mechanism goes into your fleece before cutting starts, so the finish is a documented spec choice rather than an assumed one.
We check the finished fabric on your approved sample against a standardized rub test and record the result as a grade on your tech pack before bulk is authorized. The exact method and target grade for your order are confirmed with your account manager and stated in writing before production starts.
Single-face brushing leaves one smooth side, usually the inside, and keeps the outer face cleaner for printed graphics. Double-face brushing softens both sides for warmth but makes the outer face less reliable for fine embroidery detail. We specify which one fits your end use rather than defaulting to whichever is faster to run.
Fleece can shrink after repeated industrial washing if it isn't heat-set and tested first. We wash-test fabric through repeat laundering cycles and disclose the shrinkage tolerance on your tech pack, confirmed with your account manager before your bulk run is authorized.
It can, on high-loft fleece, without the right backing. Our embroidery team uses cut-away or water-soluble topping to keep stitches sitting on top of the pile instead of disappearing into it, the same approach we use on other brushed and napped fabrics.
Recycled-content fleece can be sourced on request. We confirm the certification scope, [Global Recycled Standard (GRS)](https://textileexchange.org/standards/global-recycled-standard/) or RCS, and provide the relevant transaction documentation with your quote once we know your target recycled-content percentage and your intended market's labeling requirements.
