From A to Z: A Complete Breakdown of What Is the Pre Production Process in Clothing Manufacturing Rijiz.co As a fashion entrepreneur or industry professional, you know that clothing manufacturing…
One factory, six jacket programmes today, built to hold construction and fit consistent from your first sample through your fiftieth reorder.
If you're sourcing outerwear for a private label launch, a wholesale line, or a team or corporate programme, the real question isn't whether we can make a jacket
It’s whether the factory can hold construction and fit consistent from your first 30-unit sample run through your fifth reorder, without you having to re-explain the spec every time. That consistency is what we build the whole operation around.
Bomber, puffer, bubble, softshell, leather, and varsity are the six jacket programmes we run today, and we add new styles as brands bring us the demand for them. Each one uses a different shell, fill or lining system, and QC checklist, run by people who specialize in that build, so you get one factory and one account manager without a generic spec sheet stretched across products it wasn’t built for. Each programme below also has its own AQL 2.5 inspection points and the same Golden Sample process behind it.
Six programmes run today. We scope new ones as brands bring us the volume and the silhouette.
You need to test a style without betting on a container load. Our 30-unit MOQ and fixed Golden Sample process let you validate a jacket before you commit real capital to it.
You need every unit in a 500-piece order to fit and brand identically, and a landed price you can put in a budget without a customs surprise later. That's what our DDP shipping and per-category QC checkpoints are actually for.
Varsity orders run against a roster, not a size curve you control. We hold construction consistent across a full size run and turn mid-season reorders around on a fixed 21-day clock.
Leather and bomber lines live or die on batch consistency. We disclose hide grade and construction detail in writing so what a customer buys matches what your product page says.
Softshell, puffer, and bubble buyers need a number behind the marketing claim, not just a warm-sounding description. We hand you the hydrostatic head rating, fill power, or seam spec you can put directly on your own product listing.
No reseller sits between your tech pack and the sewing machine, which is exactly where specs usually get lost in translation.
All six categories start at 30 units per style. Leather and varsity carry a higher per-unit material cost, which we'll walk you through upfront.
A puffer and a leather jacket sample differently. Your Golden Sample reflects your chosen category's real construction before bulk cutting starts.
Customs clearance and import duties for the USA, UK, and EU are handled on our end, so your quoted landed price is the price you pay.
Tell us the silhouette, the season, and the price point you’re building toward, and we’ll tell you honestly which programme fits. The six above are what we run at scale today, not a ceiling: if your silhouette sits outside them, that’s a bespoke development slot, not a dead end. Every order, existing programme or bespoke, starts with a physical Golden Sample, approved before we touch bulk fabric, with free global shipping.
Running a multi-category uniform programme alongside your jackets? We also manufacture custom aprons and streetwear basics under the same factory roof and account manager.

I have build a hand full of entrepreneurial businesses, but recently made my first venture into the sportswear sector, and decided to work with Rijiz as my first clothing manufacturer. They did an incredible job bringing my flat sketches to life, and working with me throughout the iterative design process, making small tweaks and suggestions as we moved towards the final product. Their communication was good via email, and they were supportive throughout the process, even checking in with me periodically to ask how things were going. The only hiccups were a last minute increase in the cost per unit of the product, and a slightly longer than expected lead time, but my order quantity was very small, so these problems make sense. I'm sure larger order with them take priority. Overall, they are a great company that I will continue to work with as this business grows, and I would highly recommend them!Posted on Google![]()

Softshell and bomber typically move fastest since they don't require the fill-consistency testing that puffer and bubble jackets need, or the hide-grading step required for leather. All categories still run on a fixed 21-day lead time from sample approval.
Yes. It's common for a brand to run a puffer and a softshell in the same season. Each category is sampled and quoted separately, but we can align delivery dates so everything lands together.
Bomber, puffer, bubble, softshell, leather, and varsity all start at 30 units per style. Material cost per unit varies significantly by category, which affects your total order value even at the same minimum quantity.
Tell us your target price point, climate use case, and brand positioning on an initial call. Most brands narrow it to one or two categories within a few minutes once we know what the jacket actually needs to do for the wearer.
Yes, this falls under our bespoke development process. It's most common on varsity and leather builds. Flag it in your tech pack or initial brief and our pattern team will scope it before sampling.
These are the six programmes we run at scale today. We add new ones as brands bring us the volume and silhouette to justify a dedicated line, and anything outside the current six is scoped as a bespoke development project rather than turned away.
